What we can offer you at Sewall House Yoga retreat is a safe space to grow with personalized practice that addresses you as an individual, which we all are! This lovely guest truly progressed in many ways, getting in lots of good hikes, healing fresh air, saunas, healthy food, rest and, of course, commitment to improving her relationship with her body, mind and breath!

and here is what she wrote us after her stay (sometimes it sinks in when you get home and see the contrast!)

“I have to tell you that I have simply been raving to everyone about the retreat. My family and friends said they could actually see the difference..I woke up and kept Donna with me through the DVD this morning, great recommendation, thank you! A most memorable and rejuvenating experience. I am already looking forward to coming back..oh, and my dad loved the PB and J sandwich raving about the bread and Kent, the peanut butter!

Yesterday I took a lovely and interesting young woman (who just got back from helping in Haiti) ,who was with us for 5 days, to the airport. On the way she spotted a young moose on the side of I-95. This is where you want them to be; nevertheless it was good to slow down, which we did, cause you never know. We pulled over to the side, as did one other car, to watch her gracefully gallop into the woods.

Later that day we were on the way to the Amish to get some hanging flowers for the porch when Kent spotted a sleeping baby horse; mother was grazing right over her. Later we saw her struggle to her spindly legs and mom prod her along- such great moments in Maine. Kent wished we had the camera for a super shot of the baby napping with mom watching over her- for our long coming cookbook, but alas we did not have it with us! More yogis arriving tomorrow and next week.

82 today in Maine for those who think it is cold here..we went out to the swimming pond and the water was warm enough to swim- one guest this past week said she actually did take a dip when kayaking on the lake , not a soul in site.

We still have rooms in JUNE so consider the 10% special and the good airfares we saw on Orbitz yesterday from NYC. We tried June 2-9 and it came up a little over $200 round trip, great price…

Happy travels and yoga-ing ..hope to see some of you up here in Maine for Sewall House Yoga Retreat!

We took guests to the cabin for lunch, beautiful day today, and it was so fun to watch a busy beaver moving back and forth on some kind of a mission in the water.

Here is a link for an article I wrote on yoga retreats that just came out ; enjoy

Since we have the space, knowing that the ┬átimes are challenging and unpredictable for many, we are offering this rate in ┬áhopes it will benefit us all! Things in Maine usually start up after Memorial Day. Last year we were busy even before then but we still have rooms available this year so take advantage if you can. June is a beautiful month in Maine and May can be too. We included a mother and daughter shot in honor of Mother’s Day, blessings to all mothers this special day! And remember Belly Dancing with Reyna again July 23-26 with a full moon for high energy!
